New Hitman Game Reveal Divides Fans

While the Hitman series has always had a legendary status in the gaming community, the reboot trilogy, currently packaged as HITMAN World of Assassination, has been one of its most successful eras yet. Having reached over 75 million players for the final entry in the decade-long trilogy, it's no wonder that the reboot series is IO Interactive's first pick for itsnewest spin-off.

First teased all the way back in late January of this year, we finally got an official starting date for the upcoming project made in collaboration with Gamefound, which is aiming to start crowdfunding on April 30th by MOOD Publishing. While plenty of fans have already expressed excitement over its release, others have raised more than a few concerns about the latest HITMAN project.

It might not be the direct HITMAN sequel you might have been hoping for, the announcement of Hitman: The Board Game is still offering an exciting new way to experience the classic formula of the reboot trilogy as a 1-4 player competitive board game.
