If there is one thing we know about Grand Theft Auto 6 after the teasers we've seen over the years, it's that the game is an absolutely stunning visual upgrade from its predecessor. While we would expect at least somewhat of a graphical improvement after the 13-year wait for the current release date for GTA 6, some fans speculate we might be in for a bigger treat than we initially expected.
As noted by GTAVI_Countdown on X, if previous Rockstar Games are anything to go by, the actual release of Grand Theft Auto 6 could look significantly better than what we've seen so far, despite some fans skepticism that it will live up to the trailer footage.
Having gone back and compared screenshots of the protagonists from Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2's full release to their initial reveal trailers, it's almost jarring to see how much of an improvement both games had at launch. Even without mentioning the various next-gen updates and re-releases to take advantage of greater hardware, Rockstar has a proven track record of surpassing expectations when it comes to the final game.
Even pure visual fidelity aside, more...
