Nintendo has officially announced that Rhythm Heaven Groove will launch on July 2, 2026. Rhythm Heaven Groove hasn't been seen since its announcement in the March 2025 Nintendo Direct, one of the last presentations focused solely on original Nintendo Switch reveals and updates.
Known as Rhythm Heaven in the US, Rhythm Paradise in PAL regions, and Rhythm Tengoku in Japan, this series of fast-paced rhythm-based micro-games has a total of four entries, with Rhythm Heaven Groove set to be the fifth. The series made its debut in 2006 as a GBA game released only in Japan. A few years later, Rhythm Heaven made its way over to the US and Europe in the form of a Nintendo DS exclusive that earned rave reviews from critics. 2011 saw the release of Rhythm Heaven Fever for the Nintendo Wii, and in 2015, Rhythm Heaven Megamix launched for the Nintendo 3DS.
