It's not quite two weeks into the month, but some PlayStation Plus subscribers are already getting a nice bonus outside the current batch of Essential titles for April 2026. The bonus comes in the form of two new free games; however, this offer isn't available to all PS Plus members, so you may be left in the dark.
All of this is ahead of a rumored State of Play happening this week, so if you're looking to celebrate, PlayStation Plus has you covered. These additional freebies join the current slate of Essential games: Lords of the Fallen, Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream, and Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered. And as reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, both bonus games are worth checking out.
As part of PlayStation Plus' Free Game Trials program, Premium tier members will be able to check out Forgive Me Father 2 and Deathless: The Hero Quest. Both games were released in the back half of 2025, but they weren't a part of Free Game Trials until April 9, 2026. There's also a PS4 game from 2019 up for grabs, called Fell Seal: Arbiter’s Mark, but it's playable on PS5 as well.
