4A Games and Deep Silver today announced the next entry in the beloved Metro franchise, Metro 2039.
The beloved post-apocalyptic first-person shooter franchise set in the Moscow subway tunnels and, later, the apocalyptic wasteland of the former Russian Federation is getting another entry. Metro 2039 is officially real, and we won't have to wait too long for a reveal. The game's official reveal takes place this Thursday, April 16 as part of an Xbox First Look presentation.

Xbox First Look: Metro 2039 streams live Thursday, April 16 at 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern / 6pm UK. You'll be able to watch it live via Xbox's YouTube channel. Based on Xbox's wording, it doesn't appear as if there will be an official stream on Twitch. Unfortunately, there were no details provided on how long the stream will be, or what exactly will be shown during the stream. It could be just a trailer, a look at gameplay, story details, or a combination of all of them.
