The Legend of Zelda live-action adaptation finally gets a closer look in a major new update.
Sony Pictures took the center stage today at CinemaCon 2026, which is currently taking place in Las Vegas, with ScreenRant in attendance, and one of the films that got the spotlight was the highly anticipated movie adaptation of the iconic video game franchise, The Legend of Zelda, as production has officially wrapped after six months of filming.
Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will star as Link, while Bo Bragason has been tapped to portray Princess Zelda. The actors were first spotted back in November 2025 through set photos and videos, confirming that filming had kicked off. Not long after, Nintendo and Sony unveiled official Zelda looks at the actors in their costumes.
While details of the adaptation are being kept heavily under wraps, one character who is seemingly making his way into the 2027 entry is Impa, as an actor who many believe to be Dichen Lachman - although that has yet to be confirmed or denied by Sony - was seen shooting with Bragason's Zelda.
