Over the years, The Last of Us has cemented itself as one of the greatest franchises of all time, bagging itself two award-winning video game installments, as well as an equally award-winning live-action television series courtesy of HBO. With fans falling in love with the post-apocalyptic world which is full of both beauty and horror, one question remains on everybody's lips: will there be a third installment?
Since the latest entry, The Last of Us Part II, launched back in 2020 and treated fans to an ambiguous ending, many have been hoping for at least one more installment which would give them the answers they have been desperately seeking. However, with Naughty Dog yet to officially confirm the existence of The Last of Us Part III, we will have to do a bit of sleuthing.
In recent weeks, a leaker known as Alir got the rumor mill spinning when they revealed that Naughty Dog is currently working on three projects. We already know that the studio is working on a brand-new IP titled Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, but according to this leaker, it is also working on Uncharted 5 and The Last of Us Part III....
