Today, Fumi Games and PlaySide Studios rolled out the black and white carpet by debuting the Official Cinematic Trailer for their upcoming jazz-fueled first-person shooter MOUSE: P.I. For Hire. This brand new gameplay footage showcases the opening cutscene for the game, wherein the main protagonist, Jack Pepper, receives a tip on a mysterious lead and gets assigned his very first case.

Globally renowned actor Troy Baker (known for his performances in The Last of Us, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, BioShock Infinite, and more) stars as the main cheese himself. Staying true to the game’s black and white rubber hose visuals, every single cutscene in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire is hand-drawn, delivering a striking vintage aesthetic. As players sleuth through the game and hunt for clues, these cutscenes will appear every so often to provide vital context and help progress the story of corruption, kidnapping, and murder developing in the city of Mouseburg.
