Crimson Desert Hits 5 Million Copies Sold Just Weeks After 4 Million

Crimson Desert has now surpassed 5 million copies sold. Less than two weeks ago, Pearl Abyss announced the game had already hit 4 million, and I joked we’d probably be back here soon talking about the next milestone. Turns out that wasn’t much of a stretch. The open-world action-adventure game is picking up steam at a pace that’s getting harder to ignore.

5 million copies sold, for a game that many had sad was trash, not worth playing and found ways to dunk on it whenever they could. I guess the game is actually a lot better than they gave credit for, or perhaps they didn’t even play the game. Who am I do say.
