Tomb Raider is having a big year in celebration of its 30th anniversary, but amidst all the hype, there's also a bit of bad news for fans. In the years since Tomb Raider's last big adventure, the IP has made miscellaneous appearances in crossover content, one of which is about to become unavailable to those who don't act in time.
In this case, the news comes courtesy of FuturLab, the studio behind the oddly satisfying PowerWash Simulator. Thanks to the end of the studio's "formal relationship with Square Enix," a couple of free downloads are departing PowerWash Simulator next month.
Tomb Raider fans officially have until May 19 to download the Tomb Raider and Midgar special packs, which are currently available for free in the game. The Tomb Raider pack provides a version of Croft Manor desperately in need of a deep clean, while Midgar offers a slice of Final Fantasy 7's central city. It's certainly less adventurous than typical Tomb Raider experiences, but it can be a nice way for dedicated fans to see an iconic setting in a new light.
