Announced back in February and set to launch some time in 2027, Pokémon Winds & Waves is not only set to be the next mainline Pokémon entry, but it will also mark the start of Gen 10 of the beloved Nintendo franchise. Set in a tropical archipelago dotted with multiple islands and underwater areas, not much is yet known about the highly ambitious project, but players can expect to meet their starter Pokémon and embark on Pokémon's biggest installment yet.
Now, according to a recent rumor, Pokémon Winds & Waves will introduce a brand-new Gen 10 critter, making it the first non-starter Pokémon to be unveiled.

With the leaker claiming that the next installment will focus on a new Water and Flying-type Pokémon, there will reportedly be a fish and bird hybrid, and you can get a sneak peek at it here.
