Blizzard unveiled the patch notes for World of Warcraft Patch 12.0.5 days ahead of its imminent release. The upcoming World of Warcraft content patch will include new features for the Midnight expansion, along with plenty of class balance changes for players to consider once the new update is released on live servers.
World of Warcraft's 12.0.5 content patch will launch on Tuesday, April 21, following a period of server maintenance that will begin that morning. Patch 12.0.5 will pick up immediately following the events of the March on Quel'danas raid, with attacks from the Twilight's Blade and the other forces of the Void ramping up across Eversong Woods and Zul'Aman. Both Void Assaults and Ritual Sites will crop up across the map, and players who fend off the forces of the Void will unlock Great Vault rewards for the World content row. Players can also earn Field Accolades that can be traded for Champion and Heroic quality gear.
The private World of Warcraft server known as Turtle WoW is now at risk of being shut down following a lawsuit from Blizzard.
