Phasmophobia Is Getting Its First In-Game Crossover Thanks To Legendary Horror Icon

Phasmophobia has been slowly ramping up its features and offerings in preparation for the long-awaited 1.0 release, but the announcement of its next upcoming crossover seems like it will blow the previous events out of the water. Although Phasmophobia has already announced a collaboration with Blumhouse to make a full-blown horror film in the past, the latest trailer marks the first time Phasmophobia has offered an in-game collaboration with another horror franchise.

Announced during the Galaxies Gaming Showcase and posted to Phasmophobia's official YouTube channel, the new limited-time event will see Phasmophobia getting an incredibly thematic makeover as a part of the crossover, which hopefully won't be the last time we see another franchise make its way into the classic co-op horror experience.

Running from May 12 until June 2, Phasmophobia is hosting an official collaboration with the acclaimed psychological horror Alan Wake 2. This crossover brings the twisted realities of its namesake's mind into the haunted locales of Phasmophobia's paranormal investigation sites, where "Ghost Hunters will unravel a new chapter from Alan Wake" described as changing "investigations in ways players have never encountered before"
