The unfortunate reality that us Fallout fans are having to deal with right now is the fact that we likely aren't going to get a new game in the single-player series for years. That comes as a result of Bethesda Entertainment's focus on producing The Elder Scrolls VI first, leaving Fallout 5 unlikely to release any time before 2030.
The only potential silver lining to that, aside from watching new series of the TV adaptation on Prime Video, is the rumored arrival of a remake of Fallout 3. It seems likely that the game will be dropped on players heads at some point, though when exactly they might do that is unclear.
Now, fans think they have worked out a release date, but it comes with one enormous potential issue.
