During the ninety-second live letter for Final Fantasy XIV, we learned a lot more about what to expect from the upcoming 7.5 update. While most of the content they announced during this live stream was already known, this is meant to go into more detail about each little update.
While most of the standard stuff is glossed over, such as story and dungeons, there’s a strong focus on explaining the Beastmaster class, along with the new Alliance Raid that concludes the expansion-long story. And in typical Square Enix fashion, they have to tease the next Ultimate raid.
What We’ve Known
To start things off, Naoki Yoshida detailed most of what we already knew. This includes a new story, told over a couple of different patches over the next couple of months, along with a new dungeon (The Clyteum) and trial (Enuo).
Alongside this update, we’ll be getting duty support for Duck Vigil and Shisui of the Violet Tides dungeons, and Echoes of Vana’diel Part 3: Windurst: The Third Walk concludes the FFXI crossover Alliance Raid, with a very iconic character as a rather large boss.
