DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO NEO DLC Adds 30+ Fighters and New Mode

Bandai Namco is going all in on DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO with its next expansion, and this one feela like it’s aimed directly at what fans have been asking for. The newly announced Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC is set to arrive in Summer 2026, bringing over 30 new playable characters, new stages, expanded customization, and a brand-new solo mode.

And yeah, this isn’t a small update.

The biggest draw here is additional characters that is being added to the roster. The NEO DLC adds more than 30 fighters, including names like:

It also digs deeper into Dragon Ball history with picks like Grandpa Gohan, Mercenary Tao, Demon King Piccolo, and Pikkon. Even better, some of these are making their Budokai Tenkaichi debut, which longtime fans will definitely notice. But seriously, Nuova Shenron from Dragon Ball GT?  King Vegeta? This is going to be good.

This isn’t just about adding fighters. The DLC also brings over 20 new customization options, letting you tweak abilities and build out your own playstyle instead of sticking to preset kits.

There are also four new stages, including Kami’s Palace and Stratosphere (Planet Vegeta), which should make fights feel even more cinematic.
