A24 and Bandai Namco Entertainment today revealed the cast list for the upcoming Elden Ring film adaptation, and the fact it has entered production.
The silver screen adaptation of From Software's massive 2022 hit is moving forward. In a joint statement, A24 and Bandai Namco confirmed that the film, directed by Alex Garland (28 Years Later, Civil War). is now in production with plans to shoot the film for Imax. To celebrate the announcement, the studios also put out a cast list, showcasing some impressive star power attached to the film. Unfortunately, no plot synopsis was provided, leaving us to guess what the adaptation will actually be about.
A Heartstopping Cast
Elden Ring is set for release on March 3, 2028 with an all-star cast headlined by Kit Connor. Kit recently had his breakout role in the hit show, Heartstopper, and had previously collaborated with Garland in the 2025 film, "Warfare." He shares the screen with Cailee Spaeny (Alien: Romulus), another breakout star in recent years. Veteran actors include Jonathan Pryce (The Two Popes, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Nick Offerman (The Last of Us, Parks and Rec).
