Coming off KILL BLUE’s premiere across an unprecedented seven North American streaming platforms, DMM has released the creditless version of the anime’s opening animation. Set to aespa’s track “ATTITUDE,” the sequence highlights the central contrast defining protagonist Juzo Ōgami: a legendary hitman suddenly forced to navigate the unpredictable world of middle school.

The visually striking opening moves between rain-soaked city streets, sharp action cuts, and bursts of colorful school life, capturing the tension between Juzo’s former life as a hardened assassin and the chaotic energy of his unexpected return to youth. Playful imagery such as candy, classroom scenes, and dance-driven moments appear alongside the firearms and action that shape the series’ tone, creating a distinctive visual style that blends danger with humor and youthful exuberance. Directed by Ryu Nakayama, known for his storyboard and directorial work on the first season of Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen, the animation brings a cinematic sensibility to the series and is already drawing attention as a standout opening of the season.
