Excitement over the upcoming game, Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic, seems to be waning a bit as news regarding when the game will be released is not making everyone happy. The narrative-driven RPG is going to take place during one of the most well-known and beloved eras of the Star Wars franchise and, as such, has had fans on the edge of their seats for more information since it was announced in late 2025.

Unfortunately, since the debut trailer for Star Wars: Fate of the Old Republic was shown in December 2025, there has been little to no additional news regarding the game. This isn't too unusual for a game that's still in the early stages of development, and simply the concept of getting to play an immersive game as a Force user at this turbulent time in the Star Wars timeline is keeping it in the minds of eager fans.
