PlayStation Plus subscribers have some brand-new games to download, as the Extra and Premium game catalog has officially been updated today, April 21, 2026. Unfortunately, those who are only subscribed to the service's lowest tier, PlayStation Plus Essential, won't be able to check out the new batch of games for April 2026, which includes the likes of Football Manager 26 Console, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and The Crew Motorfest, all of which are now available to Extra and Premium users.
Today's PS Plus update is great news for Extra and Premium subscribers, and although Essential users can't check out the new additions for April 21, there are some free games available to claim now until Tuesday, May 5. Each month, all PlayStation Plus subscribers are treated to some free games that can be kept forever, as long as they are claimed within the alloted window and users remain subscribed to the service. For those who haven't checked them out yet, the free PS Plus Essential games for April 2026 are Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, Lords of the Fallen, and Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered.
