Set during 1911 in fictionalized versions of the American West and Mexico, Red Dead Redemption is as memorable for its setting as it is for its story and characters. However, with its sequel (but technically prequel), Red Dead Redemption 2, choosing to skip a visit to Mexico, players were left feeling disappointed not to see a new-and-improved version of some of the iconic locations visited by John Marston years previously.
As such, a group of talented modders have come together to bring Mexico to Red Dead Redemption 2 in the Red Dead Redemption 2: Nuevo Paraiso mod. However, fans of the hit Rockstar title have been left feeling divided over its inclusion.
With the mod aiming to remake part of the Nuevo Paraiso map from Red Dead Redemption and port it to Red Dead Redemption 2, players can expect remade cities and peds despite the mod currently being in an unfinished state. However, with the team still working on it and even releasing teaser trailers to show off its progress, there is no denying that the iconic location looks absolutely stunning in Red Dead Redemption 2's stunning engine.
