Xbox continues the string of changes that have been taking place on consoles and its storefront. After rolling out a new Dashboard overhaul earlier this month, Xbox is already making another change to the way users get store credit and freebies. While this feature doesn't appear to have been rolled out everywhere yet, a number of Xbox gamers are reportedly already seeing the changes.
The new feature has been said to be "Coming Soon," but as reported by PureXbox, a number of users in the United States have stated they're seeing these changes already. So, there's a chance you'll see this for yourself, but if you can't, it should only be a matter of time before the rollout officially happens. It's seemingly just being tested in a limited capacity right now.
The latest Xbox change comes in the form of its Rewards system. With this update, Xbox gamers will be able to use Rewards Points as actual currency to make purchases of games, rather than jumping through the previous hoops that required them to buy an Xbox Gift Card or Microsoft Gift Card with their points first.
Apparently, that option will still exist, but this new update will cut out...
