Ubisoft continues to see massive corporate restructurings, with the latest major change allegedly including the cancellation of the in-development Alterra, a cozy game that had been in development for three years and featured a mix of gameplay mechanics similar to those found in Animal Crossing and Minecraft. While Alterra was never officially announced, insider information on the game had quickly drawn the attention of fans, and many were hoping to see new releases like Pokemon Pokopia inspiring Ubisoft to go public with confirmation of the project.
