The Pokémon Trading Card Game is gearing up for two highly-anticipated expansions soon, and that's not even including the 30th Anniversary Collection that'll be dropping later this year. First up, we have Chaos Rising releasing next month, and then Pitch Black will be dropping in July. The former will feature Greninja on its ETB while Pitch Black will put Darkrai front and center.
Mega Darkrai was a major part of Pokémon Legends: Z-A's DLC, Mega Dimension, which is why this Mythical Dark-type is back in the zeitgeist again. And it also explains why the upcoming Pokémon TCG set will be focused on Darkrai when Pitch Black releases. In Japan, the set is apparently being called Abyss Eye (via PokeBeach), and thanks to a new official trailer, we can see a first look at the kind of cards we'll be getting when Pitch Black arrives.
