Xbox Game Pass subscribers got some refreshing news earlier this week with an official price decrease for a change." After several price increases over the past few years, it was a welcome change to the service, and just one example of how Xbox is taking Game Pass memberships to the next level in this new era for the console.
Game Pass members have already had a pretty bountiful month, with several new additions to the extensive library of free games. There's more on the way though, with Xbox Game Pass subscribers expected to receive several brand-new day-one releases, arguably one of the best features of the service, including highly anticipated titles like Don't Nod's Aphelion, a highly anticipated new cinematic sci-fi game dropping on Game Pass on April 28.
In the coming months, subscribers at the Ultimate tier and above will be able to play 15 new games on day one for free as part of their membership (via Notebook Check).
