The Fallout franchise is in a pretty solid place right now, but the fact remains that we are yet to seen another game in the main single-player series, despite Fallout 4 dropping all the way back in 2015. With Bethesda Entertainment fully locked-in on The Elder Scrolls VI for the time being, it's going to be a while longer yet, and there are plenty of questions about what the release will be like when it finally does arrive.

If you weren't aware, Bethesda is now a first-party Xbox studio, with Microsoft buying the developer and publisher's parent company ZeniMax Media $7.5 billion in 2021. With the change in leadership roles at Xbox over the last few months, questions have started to come up about what the company is planning to do when they drop the next Fallout game, and fans are split over what exactly will, and should be, happening.
