Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 officially turns one-year old today, and fans have been speculating over the past few weeks about what to expect from Sandfall Interactive to celebrate the occasion. It's hard to believe just how massive Clair Obscur has become in just a year's time, reaching heights that nobody could have predicted since its 2025 launch.

Rumors of a new DLC shadow drop or even a major announcement regarding the next game have been spreading, largely based on Sandfall's surprise release of the Verso's Drafts DLC (aka "Thank You" Update) after their 2025 GOTY win at The Game Awards. Well, the big day has finally arrived, and Sandfall Interactive have officially issued a statement on X regarding what fans can expect on the 1-year anniversary, including an update on the highly anticipated sequel and new DLC.

In an official post from the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 account on X, developers have clarified that fans will NOT be getting any "major DLC" or expansions for the game on the anniversary, nor will they be getting any official news or updates on the highly anticipated sequel.
