After a long and often frustrating development cycle, Yacht Club Games has finally announced that Mina the Hollower has gone gold. The game is complete and has entered certification with platform holders, meaning a final release date should be right around the corner.
In a short message on the official Yacht Club Bluesky account, the team thanked fans for sticking with them through the years of updates and delays. For a project that has been in the works this long, that moment feels earned.
Mina the Hollower was first revealed through Kickstarter in 2022, where it quickly raised over $1.4 million and built strong momentum toward a planned 2023 release. That timeline slipped, then slipped again, eventually landing on an October 31, 2025, launch that also didn’t hold. Just weeks before release, Yacht Club Games delayed the title once more to focus on polish, balance, and localization.
At the time, the studio said it wouldn’t announce a new date until the game was officially submitted. Now that it has gone gold and a Spring 2026 window is already in place, it looks like the wait is finally about to pay off.
All I know is the last time I played...
