An upcoming novel, set in Baldur's Gate 3's Forgotten Realms, will explore Astarion's past and his servitude to Cazador Szarr. Astarion fans, and Baldur's Gate 3 fans at large, should be sure to check it out when it releases on September 29.

However, this is just one part in a new partnership between Wizards of the Coast and publisher Random House Words. In short, the partnership will see an array of new publications released between 2026 and 2027, with at least four books (including Astarion's) releasing in 2026.
