Set to hit cinemas in just over a year, the hype is building around The Legend of Zelda movie despite fans knowing next to nothing about what they can expect from the highly anticipated movie adaptation. Based on the beloved video game series by Nintendo, the movie is set to be directed by Wes Ball (The Maze Runner trilogy, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes) and will star actors Benjamin Evan Ainsworth and Bo Bragason as Link and Zelda respectively. Other than that, things are still being kept under wraps over at Columbia Pictures... or are they?
What we do know is that The Legend of Zelda will reportedly not follow any particular Nintendo entry and will instead introduce its own story based on the beloved characters and setting. However, that has not stopped fans from wondering which video game entry, in particular, it will take the most inspiration from, especially as there are so many entries that are considered favorites.
