Xbox Game Pass is losing nearly 10 of the free games available in its catalog on April 30, and players who still want to check them out have only a few days to do so before they are removed with no return in sight. Every month, new titles are added to Microsoft’s subscription service, while others are removed. Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass lost five free games as part of April’s Wave 1 updates, which also saw the addition of nearly 20 games.
This is a common thing for the subscription service, but it seems like the losses in April will be larger than anticipated. Recently, Microsoft made an official post on Xbox Wire, revealing all the new Wave 2 additions to the service in April 2026. These include a bunch of new games, some of which are day-one releases on the catalog, like Aphelion and Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era.
