A new rumor has claimed that EA Sports UFC 6 will be released on June 19, 2026. EA Sports UFC 6 will be the first new entry in the MMA video game series since October 2023 and will reportedly launch initially on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S followed by a PC port later in the year.
Following the closure of THQ back in the early 2010s, EA made a deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship to start producing games under the organization's banner. The first game produced under this partnership was 2014's EA Sports UFC, a title that received a somewhat mixed reception from critics. A sequel released two years later, and while it was received slightly better than the series' debut title, its scores didn't come close to those attributed to THQ's UFC Undisputed series. Three more EA Sports UFC games were released in the following seven years, with the most recent entry, EA Sports UFC 5, launching in October 2023. This latest entry received a much stronger critical reception than most of its predecessors, with it earning a Top Critic Average of 79 on OpenCritic.
