The first trailer for MultiVersus Season 2 has been shown off at EVO 2024, confirming that the next two characters coming to the game are Samurai Jack and Beetlejuice.
After more than a year offline, MultiVersus finally returned to us a few months ago and kickstarted things off with a new Season 1. While the addition of Joker, Banana Guard, Jason, and Agent Smith has mostly been met with positive reception, the season as a whole hasn't exactly lived up to everyone's expectations after being gone for so long.
Banana Guard and Jason had my eyebrows raised at first, but I'm just glad MultiVersus has some tricks up its sleeves still.
While it's a shame to start off on a bit of a rocky foot, there's always a chance for improvement and MultiVersus' second season already seems like it's going to be a big step in the right direction. Player First Games previously confirmed that a special announcement for MultiVersus was going to be made at EVO 2024, and it certainly lived up to that promise.
