It's Officially A New Era For Hogwarts Legacy

With Hogwarts Legacy 2 reportedly in development with plans to coincide with the launch of 2027's Harry Potter, fans are excited about what the future holds for the Harry Potter-inspired RPG which became 2023's best-selling game of the year. However, with Warner Bros. in the midst of a takeover, a recent development could be the start of a brand-new era for the highly anticipated Hogwarts Legacy sequel.

Released back in 2023 and telling the story of the magical world of Harry Potter over a century before the events of the beloved book and movie series, Hogwarts Legacy was a hit despite the controversy surrounding its launch, thanks to the views of its author J.K. Rowling. Since then, however, fans have been disappointed with the lack of post-game content, which means that a lot more is riding on a sequel with the hopes that it will deliver much more than its predecessor. That being said, thanks to a recent development in the Warner Bros. acquisition, the future is looking a little less uncertain for Hogwarts Legacy 2.
