Xbox Dropping 50+ Free Games As Its New Era Continues

Xbox very publicly entered a new era earlier this year, when Asha Sharma took over the reigns as CEO from long time head honcho Phil Spencer, with the new boss not afraid to quickly start changing things across the board.

Sharma has already confirmed the next step in Xbox's plans, with Project Helix on the way at some point in the next few years, while she has also confirmed that she "hears" fan concerns over a lack of exclusive titles. At the same time, the price of Game Pass Ultimate has also been lowered significantly, confounding the overall trend of the market in the process.

Now, with all of that radical stuff underway already, the community thinks they have worked out exactly what's coming next, and it should make most PC gamers pretty happy indeed.

As reported by TwistedVoxel, Dealabs insider billbil_kun shared a post over on Twitter/X revealing 58 titles that will be included as part of the new Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition when it launches. The list is largely similar to the Essentials list that players currently have, though with a couple of key differences.
