Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is celebrating its first anniversary, and SNK is marking the occasion with a massive Ver. 2.0.1 update. The patch is now available, and it brings a hefty list of additions, including Wolfgang Krauser, a new story mode, Ring Out battles, UI changes, and balance adjustments.

The update is also a sizable download, coming in at around 30 GB, so players may want to clear some space before jumping back into South Town.

After hearing feedback about the game’s UI, SNK has overhauled the main menu with a cleaner setup that splits the game into three main areas:

The Fighter’s Hub has also been redesigned to make player information, battle settings, online profiles, and match records easier to access. Training Mode now has quicker access from the Mode Select screen, and players can use online match settings while practicing.

That last part is one of the better quality-of-life changes here. Being able to train while waiting for a match is something fighting game players always appreciate, especially when there are combos, matchups, and defensive options to work through. Gotta love those chibi designs, too. I know I do.
