Dragon Age: The Veilguard is making a huge change to the usual formula. Now, instead of trekking out in parties of four, we'll only be able to take two companions with us at a time, bringing the Dragon Age series more in line with Mass Effect.
As we learn more about how Dragon Age: The Veilguard will play, fans aren't convinced that this is a good direction for the series. In fact, many of them are already fearful that this will negatively impact the game, as some say they want to journey with even more companions, not fewer.
"I'll be honest, I'm still not convinced on only being able to bring two companions with me," says Reddit user TheBlightDoc. "With only a party of three, am I gonna have to leave behind companions that are the same class as me? Like, if I'm a warrior, I'm only gonna be taking mage and rogue companions, and vice versa, and I don't want that. Does team comp not matter anymore?"
