ARC Raiders launches its major Riven Tides update, bringing a variety of new content to the game, including a coastal map, while also making a number of changes and other quality of life improvements. It's a big day for ARC Raiders players as the latest major patch has finally arrived, marking the end to the initial 2026 content roadmap Embark revealed all the way back in January.
Despite not knowing what's next for the popular extraction shooter, Embark is ensuring the April update will keep players interested for a long while. Riven Tides features plenty of new content to dig into, but also adds a number of major changes as well. While Embark is changing the way it handles Trials, the studio also revealed a free upgrade for ARC Raiders players using the PS5 Pro console. Specifically, the game now utilizes Sony's PSSR feature to enhance the visual clarity of the game, while reducing artifacts like shimmering and flickering, while also handling moving geometry more accurately than before.
