Phasmophobia Reveals New Details for the Upcoming Player Character Update

The developers behind ghost-hunting game Phasmophobia have shared some new information and further details about the game's upcoming Player Character Update. Originally, this update was expected to arrive in 2025, but was pushed back to 2026, and players will be able to customize new character models in Phasmophobia starting on May 5.

Phasmophobia has been undergoing a lot of changes in recent history, and there are many more to come. Thus far, Phasmophobia has introduced reworks of existing maps, new areas to hunt ghosts in, new types of ghosts, and more. All of these efforts are being made in the run-up to the Phasmophobia 1.0 release, when the game will finally exit early access.

Steam has plenty of indie horror games, but this newly released title takes the best of GTFO and Phasmophobia and gives it a chaotic twist.
