Rockstar Games is finally bringing a boxed version of its legendary western, Red Dead Redemption, to the newest PlayStation hardware. This new physical edition will hit PS5 store shelves on May 4 with a retail price of $30. While the digital version has been around for a while, having Red Dead Redemption on a physical disc is a major win for collectors and those who prefer physical media.
The open-world title first landed on older systems like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in May 2010. Since then, the game has seen various ports, including a fairly simple PS4 update that arrived a few years ago. Most recently, Sony users were able to download a digital-only version in December 2025, which paved the way for this upcoming boxed release.
