Gamers hate nothing more than having to wait indefinitely. Fans of Duke Nukem (if there are any left) had to wait almost 15 years to get a disastrous sequel from their blonde block-headed hero. Half-Life fans have been 21 years for Gabe to announce Half-Life 3 and the clock just keeps on ticking. Delays are forgivable if it means we get a better finished product, but Grand Theft Auto 6 fans' patience is certainly wearing thin.
With Grand Theft Auto 6 still due to release in November 2026, everyone is getting a little nervous about the lack of reveals and/or ad campaigns. Sure, GTA 6 can sell itself without much promotion, but it's a worrying sign that perhaps yet another delay is inevitable. Surely we should have a new gameplay trailer or showcase by now?
