The success of the first Hogwarts Legacy game really showed what an open-world effort in the Harry Potter universe could look like, with players spending millions of hours exploring the corridors and surrounding areas. So much so that the game still stands as the third most played single-player title on the PS5, beating out some absolute giants in the process.

As such, it was unsurprising when it became clear that Avalanche Studios, Portkey Games, and Warner Bros. were already actively pursuing the sequel. WB has confirmed that the events of the next game will follow the events of the HBO adaptation in some way, so we're likely in for a very different game next time out.

With so much still up in the air, fans have been gathering to discuss exactly what they would like to see from the sequel, including from the game world itself.

Over on Reddit, one user took to the forums to ask the community what they would like to see from the map in the Hogwarts Legacy sequel, with their contention being that it should be expanded to include areas like the Ministry of Magic.
