Harry Potter is going through a bit of a resurgence as an IP right now, with the HBO adaptation on the immediate horizon, alongside the excellent return of the franchise to the world of video games in Hogwarts Legacy. The latter serves as one of the most successful games of the current generation and the third most played single-player title from the entirety of the PlayStation 5 roster.
Whilst we have already had the extremely unsurprising confirmation that a sequel for Hogwarts Legacy is coming via Avalanche Studios and Portkey Games, we haven't really heard whether it's actively being developed, and how far along the project is in the process. Now, a secondary listing has given us confirmation that development has really begun in earnest, in what is the first public appearance for the title since its confirmation.
