As of this writing, nothing can be purchased in EA Sports FC Tactical, and the game will completely stop working on May 7.
While the timing is probably a coincidence, it's worth noting that this is not the only development for EA Sports FC in early May 2026. On May 5, the PS Plus free games for May 2026 become available: EA Sports FC26, Wuchang Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols. The latest entry in the franchise, then, is the headliner for PS Plus while a spin-off entry is shutting down just days later.
