PC Users Have Until May 8 to Claim 4 Certified Classic Games For Free

GOG has added four nostalgic 90s games to its archive, all of which will remain free to claim until May 8, 2026. GOG continues its preservation efforts and, as part of its ongoing program, has partnered with developers of xLand, a former Polish studio, to modernize and protect its cult-favorite classics.

It's unlikely that newer generations of gamers know much about xLand unless they are really interested in DOS-era games. The company is considered one of the most influential developers in Poland, with several titles that reached beyond the country and found an audience in places like the United States. One of those games is Electro Man, also known as Electro Body in some regions, which is now part of GOG's free-to-claim promotion.

Steam's latest giveaway on the Free-to-Keep Promotion is a 2025 horror game with solid, mostly positive reviews on the platform.
