Gamers who are interested in buying a PlayStation 5 just got some bad news, as the price of two refurbished units have now increased. PlayStation 5 fans will have to shell out about $100 extra if they're interested in buying most models of the refurbished console.

It's not an easy time to be a gamer interested in buying a console or PC right now. AI data centers creating demand for parts has ensured that costs of components like RAM and CPUs have risen, increasing the price of everything from building a PC to purchasing consoles. So far, these trends show no signs of dying down, which may have led some players to consider buying used or refurbished systems. Unfortunately, though, even those are now more expensive, at least if one is interested in a Sony system.
