Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic Fans Lose It Over New Teaser

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most beloved RPGs of all timeand helped reestablish the power of Star Wars games across the industry. Released all the way back in 2003, it's remained a staple of the genre for decades, and fans constantly reference it, fondly recalling its numerous twists and turns.

However, fans aren't so keen on how the remake announcement has been handled. Revealed back in 2021, the remake hasn't shown off much in the way of actual info, and development has even changed hands at least once. The unveiling of The Fate of the Old Republic, a spiritual successor, hasn't really helped the remake's profile either.

That could change, though. As we know, the gaming industry is unpredictable, and reveals can come out of nowhere, even without an accompanying tradeshow or stream. Based on a discussion being held on X, fans are losing it over a new teaser for the franchise (via Star Wars.com).

A new key art was revealed for the annual Star Wars "May the 4th [of May] Be With You" celebration, and fans are noticing that it represents multiple aspects of the universe, not just the three major film trilogies....
