Remedy Unveils New Details for Control Resonant at Gamescom LatAm

One of the leading storytellers in gaming, Remedy Entertainment, has released a brand-new developer diary just in time for their Gamescom Latin America (LatAM) appearance. Best known for their work on Alan Wake, Max Payne and, of course, the last Control game, Remedy continues to flex their creative muscles, and based on the newest video showcasing some behind-the-scenes works, they’re going all out with the surreal experience of Control Resonant.

This near-six-minute-long developer diary goes over the environmental aspect of the upcoming action game. The original Control was a mind-bending adventure that reshaped the world around Jesse Faden, but it was mostly confined within a singular building. It was claustrophobic because of this, as Jesse would have to face down enemies in such a unique and always changing environment.

With Control Resonant, Remedy has created a warped sense of reality, this time reshaping the more open setting of Manhattan. As players might expect, this has allowed the Finnish studio to do a lot of unique things that go well beyond the first game.
