While we wait to hear more about Valve's new hardware rollout, we're free to peruse Steam for new games on the regular. Every single genre you can think of is represented, but action and horror often rise to the top when it comes to pure numbers. People just can't resist a fun horror game, especially if it's action-oriented like Resident Evil.
Mashups can be a ton of fun, too. Taking an action-first approach can work for a variety of timelines, including historical time periods like the Old West. There's something fascinating about mixing those two specifically that allows some projects to sing. They often go together perfectly like peanut butter and jelly.

Revealed on Steam and currently pending a release date, Hear Tell of Hauntings is coming from Two Stamp Studios at some point in the future. Taking place in Montana in 1897, you'll take control of an outlaw as you attempt to take on supernatural forces.
