Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most beloved takes on the franchise, but it's struggled to make a proper comeback in the modern era. While the announcement of the new video game Fate of the Old Republic was a recent light at the end of the tunnel, news on the troubled remake of KOTOR itself is still scarce.
In the meantime, KOTOR fans are getting treated to something else. In celebration of May the Fourth, Hasbro has revealed plenty of upcoming Star Wars products, with a couple of them serving to honor the KOTOR legacy.
Hasbro showed off its upcoming slate of Star Wars figures in a livestream, as reported by Gizmodo, including a two-pack of Mission Vao and Carth Onasi. For Knights of the Old Republic players, these characters will both be familiar as companions from the first game. Mission Vao is a Twi'lek street urchin and proficient scoundrel, while Carth Onasi is a Republic officer and pilot with a tragic backstory.
As part of Hasbro's Black Series of figures, Mission Vao and Carth Onasi are intended to satisfy collectors rather than simply serve as toys. The price, of course, will reflect that,...
